Play without an account
Pool Shot Hero has no registration, sign-in, or account system, and it does not upload racks to a server. Hero Break, Warm-Up Six, the Star Book, the Sticker Stall, the Hero Handbook, and Settings all stay on this phone.
Matching in Warm-Up Six is a short wait on this phone. The rival is played by the device. It is not another person online.
On this phone
Progress, stars, and settings
The items below are stored in a local save on this phone so you can continue. They are not uploaded on their own:
- Your name, and an ID created the first time you open the game. The ID looks like PSH plus letters and numbers, and it identifies this save on this phone.
- Star ratings for the fifty Hero Break levels, the level you have reached, and stars added after a clear.
- Your star count. Stars are spent at the Sticker Stall. They are not a payment.
- How many tools you hold: Bridge, Glow, Extra, Trace, Rewind, and Sight, and whether Glow is still lit.
- Star Book tasks you have already claimed, and Warm-Up Six wins.
- The switches in Settings: Sound Effects, Comic Score, Aim Guide, Shot Haptics, and whether you have already seen the opening note for level one.
Sound effects are synthesized on the phone. Comic Score plays the background music that ships with the game. The game does not open the microphone and does not save audio as a separate file. Shot Haptics uses only the system tap.
How each part uses the save
What the modes store
- Hero Break scores a clear and its stars from the called pocket and the required route. The clock, shots left, and result are handled on this phone.
- Warm-Up Six scores six alternating shots. A win only increases the warm-up record on this phone, so the Star Book can tell whether a task is done.
- The Star Book shows tasks from progress on this phone. Claiming a task adds stars to the same save.
- The Sticker Stall reads your stars and tool counts. A purchase only spends local stars and adds a local tool. There is no order and no payment information.
- The Hero Handbook only shows the rules. It does not write new personal information.
- Settings can change your name. The ID stays the same after it is created. Switch changes are written back to the local save immediately.
No ads
Ads, tracking, and identifiers
This game does not show ads, does not connect to an ad service, and does not use an advertising identifier. It does not ask for permission to track you across apps, and it has no ad-privacy choice or personalized-ad switch.
The game does not use an analytics service and does not collect an IP address, approximate location, ad requests, impressions, or taps. If a download count appears in a report Apple gives a developer, that count belongs to the App Store. It is not a tracker installed by the game.
These are not requested
Contacts, location, photos, and microphone
The game does not read contacts, photos, precise location, or the microphone, and it does not ask for those permissions in order to play. Aim lines, the wooden cue, and the table are images and drawing that ship with the app. They do not open your photo library.
If the system backs up the whole phone, whether that backup includes this local save is decided by Apple and your device settings. The game has no backup server of its own.
Delete the app to clear it
Keeping and deleting
Your name, ID, star ratings, stars, tools, claimed tasks, and switches stay on this phone until you delete the app or clear its data in the system. There is no account you can sign in to, so there is no online account to close.
The game has no support form and does not ask for an email address. Do not send a password or other unnecessary personal information through a channel that has nothing to do with the game.
General audience
Children
The game is for a general audience. It does not knowingly ask a child to submit personal information, and there is no sign-up where age, a legal name, or contact details can be entered. The display name is typed by the player in Settings and is stored only on this phone.
If this changes later
Updates to this policy
If a later feature changes how information is handled, this page will be updated and the date above will change with it. This game has no account, no ads, and no in-app purchases. Progress stays on the phone where it is installed.
